We are particularly interested in individuals with the following qualifications and experience:
You will be a college leaver with A-Levels or equivalent.
You will have GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English.
You will have a keen interest in Finance and Accounting.
You will be a self-starter with a positive “can do” attitude.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills.
You will have good numerical and IT skills.
You will have previous experience working within a team and display a positive attitude and willingness to learn
You will ideally have previous administrative experience and knowledge of office systems and procedures gained in a finance environment, although this is not essential.
- Experience of a range of Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook and the internet.

Whilst the above qualities are desirable, consideration will be given to individuals who are able to show their exceptional abilities in other ways.

About the Apprenticeship Scheme

You’ll be sponsored to study a professional accounting qualification from one of the UK’s leading accounting bodies while, at the same time, gaining invaluable experience in a variety of Finance roles within our Finance Transactional Shared Services department to become a rounded finance professional. You’ll gain experience of different Finance teams on a six monthly rotational basis to give you the chance to learn what each different Finance team does, how it operates, as well as understanding which Finance specialism you might like to follow as your finance career develops.

To support your learning and growth journey, you’ll have the chance to learn about how a large Finance function operates by rotating through different roles and you will assist with:
Providing general administrative and transactional support to the Finance Transaction Team, which includes: processing payments and receivable related business transactions.
Understanding the end-to-end finance processes to provide financial support across the functions.
Keeping financial information and records up to date and backup documents in agreed electronic filing systems such as SAP and the Finance network drives.

**As part of your role, you will also be expected to**:
Establish your own priorities and organise your own workload ensuring that activities are completed to specification and tight deadlines.
Attend in-house / college classes and complete exams as part of the apprenticeship
