Our client is a security solutions business offering expert knowledge on how best to secure their clients property with the use of tailored security systems. The Business Development Manager will need to be able to do the whole 360 process from cradle to gravefrom calling to develop the leads, creating a pipeline and then to survey and agree prices with clients.
**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Achieve growth of the business by hitting sales targets as outlined below.
- Implement the annual sales plan as directed by the SLT.
- Prospect for new clients by cold calling, networking, use of databases or other means of generating interest from potential clients and turn this into new business.
- Build a pipeline of potential new business opportunities. Ensure these are prospected accordingly to maximise the chance of winning the business.
- CRM management of all sales opportunities in order to produce feedback for the weekly sales meeting.
- Provide weekly sales data to the Sales Administrator for management reporting.
- Prepare a weekly plan for the sales meeting detailing outlining proposed activity for the forthcoming week.
- Support the Operations Team during initial contract roll out, ensuring a smooth deployment of new customers.
- Use the Deal Review Board (DRB) to discuss any prospects where the GP falls below the desired 25% level.
- Expand the current customer base with a focus on direct business.
- Identify merging markets and assist in the development of a plan to target these.
- Be fully aware of new products that have been brought to market. It is encouraged to attend retail shows to build knowledge.
- Identify merging markets and market shifts in order to gain first mover advantage.
- Be fully aware of the competition in our area, particularly those who offer similar products.
- Conduct CPD activities to enhance sales and product knowledge. This is to be agreed with you line manager.
- Prepare weekly sales reports as directed.

- Attend the desired amount of new prospect meeting per week to achieve target

**Annual Sales Target (KPIs)**:

- To achieve a Gross Profit Target of 35% averaged across all sales.
- Sales Target TBC

**Other**:
