£35k base + £20k comms
Role Summary:
To support the Sales Manager in dealing business with key accounts, orders, queries, and sales administration tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
Receive Sales enquiries via various mediums.
Prepare and deliver quotes on customer requests.
Process and progress Sales orders of Customer requests and expedite orders through to completion efficiently and in line with the customers requested deadline.
Communicate verbally and in writing with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and manufacturers.
Develop and maintain a clear understanding of products and service opportunities. Ensure the most significant margin opportunities are offered.
Ensure that accurate data is added to the system promptly to keep updated with all active opportunities throughout the month.
Maintain and grow product knowledge and skills, attend, and actively participate in regular training sessions, some of which may be held outside the normal hours of the business.
Continue to develop and nurture new and existing relationships with existing customers, increasing run-rate business in each trading account.
Any ad-hoc projects as required by management.
Knowledge/Experience required:
Previous experience within a customer service or sales role required.
Previous experience of providing administrative support in a busy office environment.
Ability to work calmly under pressure, meet set deadlines and pay meticulous attention to detail. Completing tasks fully, accurately and on time, prioritising where appropriate.
Willingness to help and support colleagues, thinking beyond the task being given.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
An organised and systematic approach with the ability to multi-task and time management to stay on top of the job at hand.
An experienced problem-solver who can think logically to find solutions.
The ability to be resilient in the face of setbacks and to remain logical and controlled when under pressure.
Team spirited.
Tenacious, gets the job done.
Competent user of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
General

Familiarise themselves with the Company Policies and Procedures held on the shared drive.

Observe health and safety procedures in the workplace to ensure personal safety and to safeguard the interests and safety of colleagues, customers, and visitors.
Undertake other duties and responsibilities as appropriate since all staff are expected to work flexibly within their skill level to respond to changing priorities and make sure that customer needs and business objectives are met.
