**About the role**:

- Reporting to the Director of Revenue Management & Partnerships, working as part of the Partnerships team
- Responsible for the implementation of the international acquisition strategy, in collaboration with Marketing and Revenue Management
- Responsible for the efficient facilitation of the international bookings via our partnership channels
- To manage China Project Manager, based in Beijing, as well as the China Service Centre resources (2 heads, based in Manchester)
- To influence the creation of a relevant and impactful customer proposition to establish iQ as number one choice for international students, parents, institutions and agencies
- To own the combination of indirect and direct acquisition channels, in order to achieve revenue, cost of acquisition, occupancy and penetration targets
- To represent iQ to support the development of the brand across international markets

**Network Management**
- Develop new and maintain existing international agency partnerships, ensuring the appropriate level of commercial challenge exists between supply and demand
- Develop new and existing relationships with international education institutions developing partnership opportunities
- To identify and create relationships / opportunities within developing markets
- Measure and manage international market share and channel market share portfolio wide
- Assess international student movement ensuring iQ is represented effectively and have appropriate penetration levels
- Effective allocation of workload for China-focused direct reports

**Insights and Analysis**
- Assess market demand from all countries to influence short-, medium
- and long-term marketing strategies and initiatives
- To create and manage a network of sources to enable insights and influences into international student migration
- To work with associations such as the British Council, HESA & UCAS to gain analysis of market trends enabling the formulation of initiatives to develop new business opportunities
- Keep abreast of the political and economic factors that are likely to influence the student migration landscape (Domestic & international)
- Deliver insights internally to inform and influence business performance together with future portfolio acquisitions

**Key Role Responsibilities**:

- Work with the Director of Revenue Management & Partnerships, and others, to develop the international acquisition strategy
- Optimise the leasing volumes of international territories, assessing penetration levels to manage opportunity and risk, ensuring the iQ brand proposition and portfolio offering reflects market forces
- Responsible for the management of the agency commission budget
- Measure and manage international channel market share portfolio wide
- End-to-end management of the network of international partnerships including agents, institutions, and associations, from customer acquisition, to arrivals, through to partner commission payments
- Ensure good maintenance of records and contracts in iQ systems, in preparation for annual audit cycle
- Work with key stakeholders within iQ including Marketing, Finance, Revenue Management, IT & Systems, Legal and Asset Management to provide insights to support and influence the achievement of the businesses plan
- Work in partnership with the Revenue Management team to optimise revenue performance across the portfolio, while managing cost per acquisition
- Work with the domestic-focussed Heads of Partnerships to ensure seamless coverage and clearly defined responsibilities for cross-border partners
- Work with Customer Support team to ensure clear communications, and correct acquisition practices, between iQ Operations and partners’ booking agents, as well as effective sharing of responsibilities with the China Service Centre
