In this newly created position, you’ll work within a newly formed team, to develop and nurture employer relationships to support a range of new programmes and initiatives supporting international students to develop the skills, aptitudes and connections to fast track their career success.
The overarching role of Head of Employer Partnerships is to attract and involve employers in the provision of skills training and employability programmes for international students.
This will involve building and managing network of employers and industry experts to support students. The initial focus in UK, but longer-term goals are to develop and oversee international network based around our regional offices, with pilot in one market this year (UK).
The Head of Employer Partnerships will be responsible for:
- Honing an engaging offer for employers, to support their goals by working with INTO CareerFirst
- Engaging with employers to build strategic relationships, delivering relevant training and opportunities for international students
- Working with the Head of Skills (ICF) to integrate employers into CareerFirst programmes e.g. digital skills training
- Managing an integrated and comprehensive student offering around employment, including work experience/internships, relevant training and curated jobs boards
- Ensuring that the different offerings work together seamlessly and are tailored to the needs of students, including employability content
- Working with external partners to ensure that needs of customers are being met
ICF is a start-up product, within the established INTO brand and so would suit someone who likes variety in their work and thrives on discovery and test/learn. You should be comfortable with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and working with ambiguity.
You should a deep network of employer relationships, and be very comfortable building on and developing new relationships. The position would suit an experienced agency recruiter, who is looking to take their career in a different direction.
You may have experience with early careers (internships, graduate programs etc), and/or employment services for students.
Experience in the EdTech world, and/or working with international students is not essential but beneficial.
**We offer flexible working, not just through these uncertain times but indefinitely. **We are based in London and Brighton and would ask that you’re able to commit to occasional team meetings on-site.
The position will involve some travel to our UK education centres.
