Employee Relations Advisor

OneMedical Group is looking for an **Employee Relations Advisor **to join our People Function team at **Bank Top Support Centre**.
The role will provide a comprehensive and professional HR service to managers and team leaders by coaching and guiding them on general operational issues such as terms and conditions of service, sickness absence, performance management, disciplinary, grievances, engagement, employee wellbeing and diversity and inclusion. As part of this role, you will develop a good rapport and professional relationships to ensure that you are a key stakeholder when it comes to day-to-day people matters. Managing your own case load, your advice will be legally compliant and in accordance to the Group’s policies, procedures, KPI’s and best practice, whilst ensuring quality and consistency is achieved in line with our values, strategy and culture.
With support and guidance from the Head of Employee Experience, the post holder will provide administrative support for TUPE and associated measures. There will also be the opportunity to contribute towards strategic pieces of HR and organisational development project work with other members of the People team to help drive forward positive and sustainable actions in line with OneMedical Group’s objectives, values and mission.
Ability to travel will be required as you will visit sites in various locations at least once a week. This may occasionally involve overnight stays for those locations outside of Yorkshire. You will need to be flexible, adaptable and confident in your approach to work, with the ability to prioritise in an ever changing environment, however you will receive ongoing support from the wider People Team which consists of the Chief Operating Officer - People and Performance; Head of Employee Experience; Head of Workforce Planning and Development; Group Trainer; Payroll & Pensions Manager; Payroll Administrator; HR Administrator; Senior Recruitment Advisor, and a Recruitment Co-ordinator
**Hours**: 40 hours with flexible start and finish times
**What we’re looking for**
- CIPD Level 3/5 gained or working toward and educated to Degree or Diploma level or equivalent experience
- Substantial experience of providing ER advice and training, developing and coaching managers in line with best practice and employment law
- Understanding and knowledge of current and future employment legislation
- Able to interpret complex information to provide solutions
- Demonstrate ability to create and sustain effective input into complex HR solutions
- Ability to problem solve through analytical and structured thought processes
- Structured approach to report writing
- Numerate with the ability to interpret complex workforce information
- Ability to maintain and promote positive working relationships with excellent communication skills
- Excellent liaison and negotiation skills
- Commitment to Staff Development and Training
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and autonomously
- Flexible, adaptable, positive, problem-solving approach
- Approachable, highly motivated, emotionally resilient, open and honest, reflective and self-aware
- Ability to utilise a range of communication methods with excellent oral and written communication skills

- Salary for this position is between £31,000 and £34,000 per annum depending on experience.
