**About the team**:
Our dynamic People Team is looking for an Employee Relations Advisor who will play a pivotal role in fostering a workplace culture built on fairness, openness, and compliance. Our team is looking for someone with a robust background in Employee Relations (ER) to provide hands-on case management, collaborating closely with managers across the business. **About the role**:
This role will be at the forefront of advising, coaching, and guiding our managers on a wide array of employee relation matters. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that our employees are treated with respect and integrity while also navigating complex employment legislation and internal policies.

**In your first three months you will**:

- Familiarise yourself with company policies and procedures related to employee relations
- Establish relationships with key stakeholders across both working sites and remote teams
- Begin conducting initial assessment of employee relations issues and developing action plans for resolution

**In your first six months you will**:

- Lead investigations into workplace improvements, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure fair and timely resolutions
- Implement training programs for managers and employees on workplace policies and procedures
- Develop and implement initiatives focused on employee health and well-being, in collaboration with the wider People Team

**In your first year you will**:

- Established yourself as the trusted advisor to senior management on all matters related to employee relations
- Continuously evaluate and improve employee relation processes and policies

**Key responsibilities**:

- Proactively manage cases of ER issues, such as investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working, absence, performance, capability and workplace concerns
- Ensure that ER investigations are conducted thoroughly and fairly whilst supporting and coaching line managers on appropriate behaviours and processes
- Investigate and resolve workplace issues while preserving the employer-employee relationship
- Update and communicate workplace policies, providing training to employees and managers to minimise complaints due to misinterpretation or misunderstanding
- Strive to positively embed the company values, behaviour and culture in support of organisational development
- Support the health and wellbeing of 180 + employees

**Essential skills and experience**:

- The ability to challenge the status quo and bring about change
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases at once in a structured manner.
- Effective conflict resolution skills, prioritising cases, and collaborating with colleagues and teams.
- Proven experience in handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to analyse employee relations data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

**Desirable skills and nice to haves**:

- Experience working in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment
- Experience or understanding of either manufacturing/ warehouse/e-commerce environments
- Familiarity with HiBob HRIS for tracking employee data and managing cases
- Interest in vintage items and appreciation for the company’s unique culture and offerings
- Experience developing and delivering training programs or workshops
