North West Campaigns Executive

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to work on our campaigns in the North West, primarily in the work we do promoting Women in Tech. Reporting into the Head of North West engagement, you will help us manage and deliver some of our big campaign moments in the late summer and autumn.
Only 19% of people working in the tech sector are women, and we believe that is not good enough. TalkTalk is convening voices across the North West to make recommendations on how this could be improved. We also organise and host events and awards to celebrate the achievements of women working in tech in the region. You will help us with all of this work.
You do not need a knowledge of the telecoms industry for this role. We need you to be enthusiastic, organised, with good people skills. A knowledge of the Greater Manchester and North West ecosystem would be an advantage, as this role is all about creating connections within our home region.
The role would be a great first step in a career in communications, public affairs or stakeholder engagement.
**Responsibilities**:
- To help deliver key milestone events in our Women in Tech campaign- Assist the Head of North West Engagement and PR and Comms Manager with key administrative tasks relating to corporate affairs and north west projects- Assisting with relevant ideation, content creation, press releases and/or social media content related to North West campaigns and projects- Attend relevant events and meetings to assist and promote the work of the wider corporate team
Skills and requirements:
- Organised with excellent attention to detail- A self-starter, good with people and interested in building relationships- Strong copywriting and grammar skills- Comfortable managing several projects simultaneously- Knowledge of, and an interest in, the North West- An interest in improving female representation in the workplace would be an advantage
