Based **Altham,** Nr Burnley.

The **Senator **Group is one of the UK’s largest design led manufacturers of contract furniture with manufacturing sites across East Lancashire and the US. Employing 1,200+ staff, we design, manufacture and distribute our innovative furniture products to over 70 countries to sectors including; Corporate, Leisure & Hospitality, Education and Healthcare.
We currently have a great opportunity for a confident, highly organised **Administrator** to join our team, providing comprehensive administrative support to our Health & Safety team across a number of our local sites.
This role would ideally suit someone with previous administration experience who has a strong interest in Health & Safety and looking to develop their career within the H&S field.
**The Role**:
- Monitor, manage and maintain the H&S & Training database for the Group.
- Booking training with external bodies, communicating with relevant Managers.
- Data collection on Health and Safety training deficiencies.
- Administer all H&S internal training keeping updated records.
- Safety meeting administration including: - meeting preparation, action taking and distribution.
- Processing Health & Safety information in a usable format.
- Scanning and updating information, safety cards etc.
- Supporting the safety reps with communications / sharing information / completion of inspections.
- Generate and communicating weekly/monthly reports as required.
- Archiving and updating information as required.
- Supporting the H&S team on typing up minutes / notes from meetings, chasing up close out of actions from meetings / audits and collating and gathering evidence to support the above.
- **The Person**:
- Previous experience within a similar administrative support role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with ability to multi-task.
- Strong IT skills and ability to manage data using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Positive can do attitude with a flexible, curious approach.
- Strong communication skills, at all levels of the business across all sites.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, confident with a clear sense of ownership of tasks and duties.
- Experience or knowledge in Health & Safety. (Highly Advantageous).
- An interest in H&S and potential career within H&S.
- Full UK Driving licence required as role does require some flexibility travelling to other sites as required.
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grades 4 & above).
- Health & Safety qualification such as IOSH.
**Working hours 8.00**am
- 4.30pm** **/Monday to Friday**
