The **Senator **Group is a major employer in the Burnley, Hyndburn and Blackburn area employing 1300+ staff across its Lancashire based manufacturing sites. We design and manufacture innovative office furniture which we supply to our customers worldwide.
We currently have an opportunity for a **Site Facilities & Maintenance Administrator **within the **Facilities and Maintenance Department** to provide and coordinate all aspects of repair/maintenance activities supporting the Maintenance Team, Engineers and Managers.
You will be providing support to production, support teams and various other departments on site - alongside general administrative tasks and should be comfortable working with Word, Access, Excel and Outlook.
**The Role**
- Administration of delivery notes and invoices and to provide reporting on department spend registers.
- Assist in the booking in and subsequent control of contractors as and when they arrive on site, this will involve signing them in and checking whether documentation provided is sufficient.
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite to record maintenance data at relevant Senator Sites.
- Inventory and ordering of production tooling.
- Arrangement of tooling with suppliers - repairs, faulty.
- Administration of database and pm schedules in line daily maintenance tasks and routines, as well as repair and breakdown maintenance activities.
- To act as the focal point for external contractors and service providers organising and arranging planned maintenance visits by these.
- Identify and highlight maintenance personnel training needs and administration of training documentation and profiles.
- Ensure maintenance personnel operate in a safe and timely manner.
- Ensure maintenance department comply with company safety, health and environmental policies and procedures - including control of contractors for auditing purposes.
- Identify and report continuous improvement opportunities.
- Administration of introducing and de commissioning of assets i.e. plant and machinery.
**The Person**
- Proficient in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, and Access etc.).
- Excellent planning and organising skills with great attention to detail.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- An excellent telephone manner, polite, friendly and informative.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable communicating from shop floor to management level.
- Ability to prioritise own workload and self-disciplined in being able to work on own initiative with the ability to make decisions.
- Good attention to detail / high level of accuracy with a focus on standards, methodical and organised.
- Enthusiastic with a proactive approach.
- Reliable and flexible.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
**Working Hours**:
8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday / 8.00am - 2.00pm Friday.
