Do you have a knack for fundraising, an ability to craft persuasive grant proposals and a passion for championing the voices of service users?

For the last 36 years, our amazing team of talented professionals have helped vulnerable families in challenging circumstances to feel less alone. Any family can fall on hard times and find it difficult to make ends meet. Our team goes above and beyond to support families to learn the skills needed to keep a safe roof over their children’s heads and be the best parents they can be.

Our Community Grants & Engagement Coordinator will drive community involvement and play a pivitol role in fundraising efforts, while providing essential administrative support to our Senior Management Team.


This varied role would suit an organised self-starter and keen problem solver who is creative in their approach to working with service users to understand their needs, gather feedback, and incorporate their ideas into our projects and activities. The individual will be comfortable working at grassroots level and not afraid to play a hands-on role in the community.

Key Responsibilities
- Directly engage with service users to understand their needs, gather feedback, and integrate their insights into projects.
- Establish ongoing communication channels with service users to maintain involvement and gather feedback continuously.
- Engage hands-on in the community to secure funding opportunities and transparent feedback.
- Research and identify funding opportunities, maintaining a proactive fundraising approach.
- Maintain partnerships with organisations and community groups to expand fundraising efforts' reach and impact.
- Organise engaging fundraising events aligned with our mission and community values.
- Support general administrative tasks, including data management, reporting, and documentation, ensuring smooth operations.
- Experience in similar role
- Ability to research and identify funding opportunities.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Ability to absorb a wide range of information liaising with the diverse community.
