Are you looking for a Manufacturing Engineer role in Bromborough?

Our client have an opportunity to join a growing company who focus on the manufacture and supply of carbon fibre components to the aerospace industry.

This is a real opportunity to join a company long term who are investing in their people through direct 1-2-1 training and development.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this is a role for an experienced composites professional with significant hands-on knowledge of cleanroom operations, best practices and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead Composite manufacturing improvements, including identifying & delivering future composite cleanroom development projects.
- Being involved in developing processes for new and upcoming programmes for key aerospace and defence customers
- Assist in the development of future processes to enable the continued growth of the Teledyne CML manufacturing capabilities
- Aid and advise cleanroom staff on best practices and principles.
- You will be at the forefront of manufacturing change management to aid in future proofing the composites business.
- Internal Customer/Supplier interface on specific projects.
- Assisting the Engineering & NPI Manager in developing current and future capability models
- Be responsible for the well-being and Health & Safety of yourself and fellow workers.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Experienced composite professional, demonstrable experience in pre-preg hand layup techniques.
- Ideally have experience of training/developing/mentoring of junior colleagues within composites manufacturing.
- Experience of working with and aiding in the development of Composites Manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools.
