**CAM Programming Engineer**

We are now recruiting for a talented CAM Programming Engineer to work in our state-of-the-art lean manufacturing facility, who possesses a continuous improvement mindset. As a member of the Engineering Department, this experienced CAM Programming Engineerwill support and growth of the 3 and 5-axis machining centre manufacturing cells.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain both 3 and 5-axis programs including the transition of existing programs to Catia CAM.
- Create manufacturing instructions, SOP’s, techniques sheets and work instructions for the manufacture of composite components to associated specifications and best practices.
- Identify tooling requirements and manage the design, supply and commissioning of tooling and associated machining equipment.
- Assist with the resolution of day-to-day manufacturing problems/issues.
- Support lean/improvement projects.
- Raise and coordinate customer/supplier query notes (EQN, WQN, TLQ etc.).
- Play an integral part of NPI project teams, including reporting of progress to plans.
- Internal liaison with other manufacturing divisions and departments.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Customer/Supplier interface on specific projects.
- Be responsible for the well-being and Health & Safety of fellow workers.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Experienced programming in Catia CAM 5-axis software
- Aerospace industry experience is a significant benefit
- Knowledge of composite materials would also be a benefit
- Lean manufacturing principles
