Due to the continued growth of Rossendale Groups we are seeking a proactive and highly organized **Production Assistant** to join our growing team at **Rossendale Group**, an engineering firm specialising in lifting equipment. The production assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting branch operations, day-to-day activities, and ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Branch Operations Management**: Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations, including staff management and customer service.
- **Customer Relations**: Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients while identifying new opportunities for business growth.
- **Sales and Business Development**: Support sales efforts by helping identify client needs, preparing quotes, and ensuring timely deliveries of jobs.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure all equipment meets the company’s high standards of safety and quality.
- **Compliance & Safety**: Enforce safety regulations and industry standards to ensure safe operations within the branch and at customer sites.

**Required**:

- **Experience**: At least 3-5 years of experience within the engineering, equipment rental, or manufacturing industry.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach to addressing challenges.
- **Computer Proficiency**: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), we will train you on our internal systems.

**Preferred**:

- Knowledge of lifting equipment industry.
- Previous experience working in a branch of an engineering or equipment rental firm.
