**HR Advisor**

**Location: Southampton ** **Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours per week**

**Employment Type: Full Time**

**Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 dependent upon experience**

**About the role**

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our rapidly growing organisation. You will predominantly be offering support to our social care teams in Berkshire and Oxfordshire with occasional support across Hampshire and Dorset.

The HR Advisor will work as part of the wider human resources team with specific regional responsibilities supporting the Area Managers and their teams. In addition, you will have delegated responsibility for some of the other areas of the business including our Finance, Clinical, and other Head Office teams.

You will be required to ensure effective first line HR support providing expert advice across the full employee lifecycle (from post onboarding to exit) within company policies and procedures, ensuring managers comply with all legal requirements and make fair and equitable decisions.

You will be responsible for advising and support managers with Employee Relations case load to include Disciplinaries, Grievances and Performance Management processes and you will also be heavily involved in Change Management including Redeployment and TUPE processes.

As a HR Advisor you will be expected to travel, mainly within your designated region, and respond verbally, in writing and on a face-to-face basis in a timely manner.

The role is essential in implementing key workstreams within the designated regions and will contribute to projects as specified by the HR Business Partner.
- CIPD level 5 qualified or equivalent as a minimum- Proven HR generalist experience
- Associate Member of CIPD
- Experience in social care is desirable although not essential
- Able to advise on Employment Law, HR decisions
- Creative, innovative, adaptable in their working approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional in organisational and communication skills
- Experienced in developing and supporting line managers through change.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy.
- Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy and as part of a team.

We support people to live in their own homes, with their own tenancies and our model of support is a practice called Positive Behaviour Support. Our CEO Jonathan Beebee is a registered Learning Disabilities Nurse and qualified Behaviour Analyst. We are a medium-sized organisation supporting 35 people across Hampshire, Dorset, Berkshire and Oxfordshire and with a workforce of just over 200.
