We are looking for a confident and experienced HR individual who is looking for a new development opportunity working with a well-known, innovative employer and brand. Our client offers expert outsourced HR advice and support to organisations on a rangeof complex and day-to-day ER and HR issues, working alongside the client’s internal HR team to provide specialist advice in accordance with their local policies and procedures.

The HR Advisor acts as the first point of contact to give support and guidance at employee relations meetings and hearings, either to support the manager to undertake this meeting themselves or accompany a manager throughout formal meetings. You will providea service to the client and work closely with the HR Manager.

Are you ready for the challenge?

You will undertake ER investigations and responsibilities, providing generalist operational HR advice and support, including all related administration, on a wide range of HR issues including
- Capability casework
- Performance management
- Absence management
- Disciplinary and grievance issues etc
- Participate in the delivery of training and development seminars to the clients and participate in the co-ordination and implementation of new policies and procedures
- Manage a case load of varying employee relations cases
- Assist and contribute to the review and production of policies and procedures for the client as required
- Assist and contribute to the production of guidance documents on ER matters as required

Skills set
- An excellent knowledge of a broad range of ER issues and the ability to advise on risk
- CIPD (or equivalent) qualification, or be working toward this qualification
- Good range of IT skills, including the use of Microsoft® OutlookTM, WordTM and ExcelTM
