Sales/business Development Manager

**Salary**: £40,000 - £50,000 + car/allowance + bonus
**Summary**:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Sales/BDM who is looking for the next step in their career within the logistics sector. Our client is a well-established third-party logistics provider who has developed and grown into a supplier of choicefor warehousing, logistics and transport servicesto well-known and reputable clients. In order to continue with their ongoing growth strategy, a high calibre, ambitious and motivated Business Development Manager is now sought to supplement and then lead theteam. You will need to be commercially and operationally astute and able to identify and develop new and existing business opportunities as well as be experienced with European road transport and the logistics sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage existing client accounts
- Follow up on new business enquiries
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
Key Skills/Experience:
- Previous European Road transport knowledge
- Experience gained from the logistics sector
- Knowledge of Customs very desirable
- Good commercial ability
Ambitious and looking for career progression
