Connolly and Callaghan specialises in providing housing solutions. It is currently the largest emergency accommodation provider in Bristol and the South West providing shelter for hundreds of families and singles each night.

We currently require an E.A Housing Officer to join our team looking after various properties and residents in the Bristol area.

Duties will include
- Taking responsibility for a group or cluster of properties
- Preparing and presenting verbal/written reports when required.
- Completing sign up for new residents in conjunction with Allocations team ensuring the house and health and safety rules fully explained to the residents and the relevant paperwork is signed.
- Inducting new residents into the property
- Daily property and resident checks, updating property log to show any discharges/admissions
- Advise Cleaners of empty properties which need to be made ready for new residents
- Ensuring work has been carried out to the required standard and that property is ready for next admission
- Ensuring all incidents, reported breaches and accidents are brought to the attention of the Allocations team and your line manager.
- Interact daily with residents answering questions, updating them on changes and dealing with complaints.
- Assist with the packing of residents belongings if required.
- Ensuring Cleaners carry out their duties in line with their Job description
- Try to ensure residents are happy and secure by helping to deal with problems as they arise.
- Assisting in conflict resolution.
An enhanced DBS check and full manual driving licence is required for this role as you will be required to drive small company van as part of your duties.
