Overview:
**Purpose of Role**

This role will support on the content of a number of digital workstreams focused on educating, empowering and communicating internally across the business with regards Digital and IT workstreams and Business as Usual Activity supporting the Digital Innovation team.

This will be a varied role with scope to develop project management skills by supporting the digital innovation team on gathering of information, process mapping, and administrative project support.

The post holder will be required to design and create IT training guides, videos, case studies and information to encourage the education and communication of the department across the services.

This role would suit an ambitious innovative individual with a can-do attitude when it comes to helping others and learning.

An understanding of Office 365, including SharePoint, is a must.

This role will support the proactive service improvement agenda of the Technology Department.

**Key Activities**:

- Build guides on each of the IT systems to help to educate and empower the wider business.
- Build ‘power up’ information for 2-minute micro learning across IT solutions.
- Support the project managers and Head of Digital Innovation in their projects and support on project/work stream meetings, which have clear purposes and outcomes.
- Co-ordinate and motivate others to progress key activities
- Create and minute meetings, pulling together clear agendas and providing minutes and actions.
- Update and develop project and change materials as required
- Keep people informed and updated with clear, calm, and helpful communications
- Enthusiastic about how IT and digital projects can support our staff and service users
- Assurance that risk and issue logs are maintained for work, updated regularly and priority risks are escalated as required.
- Work closely with the Learning & Development department to provide content to be converted into digital interactive learning.
- Create content including training and case studies for all digital innovation projects.
- Support on all processes, policies and project documentation internally.
- Supporting the Digital Innovation team on projects allowing for project management exposure and learning where appropriate.
- Any reasonable requests or workstreams as set by the Director of Technology

- Experience of building IT Training in different styles
- Excellent communicator who is open, listens and collaborates
- Ability to work proactively on own initiative and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and prioritise a variety of projects with different targets and deadlines
- Comprehensive experience of using Office 365, including SharePoint
- Experience of working to deadlines
- Experience of using and maintaining databases/spreadsheets
