Booking and Scheduling Supervisor

**Job overview**:
To undertake the day to day supervision of the agreed office, providing an efficient and high quality booking and scheduling service to support the Directorate. The post holder will be required to ensure cover throughout the operating hours of the Centre.
Appropriate training will be provided but IT skills linked with good keyboard skills would be a distinct advantage along with an excellent telephone manner, ERS Knowledge and understanding of RTT.
Applicants must be flexible and adaptable with their working hours and be willing to work weekends.
Opening Hours Monday to Friday 8 am to 6pm and Saturdays
**Main duties of the job**:
Monitor the workload activity levels via the use of telephony technology and role checklists to ensure performance levels are maintained and KPI’s met.
Maintain good relationships, communicating with all disciplines of staff within the Trust and relevant external agencies.
Ensure Risk Management and Information Governance Standards are fully implemented.
Ensure operating procedures are being undertaken correctly in line with the Trust’s Elective Access Policy.
To manage all necessary performance, capability and disciplinary issues and escalate if required.
To provide complex data to the Manager as required for meetings, ensure data is correct and timely.

- NVQ Level 3 Customer Care or Equivalent
- Previous Experience Leading a Team
**Desirable criteria**:
- ECDL or Equivalent Qualification
**Knowledge, Skills, Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:
- Pt Centre/EPR Use
- Previous experience of working within a Customer Care Environment
- Experience in managing staff competency/performance
- Working within a confidential Environment
- Experience of managing conflict
**Desirable criteria**:
- Previous NHS Admin Experience
- Ability to organise departmental rotas.
