**Main duties of the job**:
To manage the day-to-day operational performance of our Salford based Booking & Scheduling team. You will motivate, inspire and empower your team of Support Managers and Supervisors to ensure we are delivering the safest and highest quality service to the local population against a defined set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will take a proactive and responsive approach to overcoming issues and challenges to deliver continuous improvement and operational excellence. To champion the voice of the patient in all elements of service management.

- Evidence of operational experience as defined within the job specification, in an NHS or broader public/private sector setting.
- Evidence of ability to lead and work as a team member with professional and managerial colleagues.
- Detailed knowledge and experience of activity management (including waiting lists) and all national standards
- Ability to empower, coach and support staff

**Qualifications**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Business administration qualification, e.g., NVQ3, or equivalent experience.

**Desirable criteria**:

- Degree level or equivalent experience in healthcare or project management
