**JOB PURPOSE**:
Burberry is seeking a Fabric Assistant for a maternity contract, to support the Fabric Development team in delivering the end to end fabric development process in their respective collection.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Input and update PLM systems to ensure precise collection data.
- Work closely with Fabric Developers to foster strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring timely and budget-friendly shipments.
- Prepare and maintain fabric pages for collection boards and fabric bibles.
- Organise and archive fabric materials, ensuring the library is up to date and easily accessible.
- Enter and maintain accurate fabric information in databases and files.
- Organise and manage the fabric library while supporting the development and design teams with key fabric details.
- Raise purchase orders in SAP for fabric sample lengths.

**PERSONAL PROFILE**:

- Fabric Development experience with a keen eye for detail.
- Expertise in handling large data volumes accurately at speed.
- Commercial awareness of fabric costs and budget tracking.
- Clear, concise communicator who thrives in a collaborative team.
- Flexible, proactive problem-solver who excels under pressure.
- Highly organised with proficiency in PLM, Excel, and InDesign.
