**Freelance Senior Data Analyst, Hybrid in London, £300-£350 per day [Inside IR35], 3-month contract**

Major Players are working with an integrated advertising agency, connecting media, creative, data, and technology to deliver modern marketing.

As a **Freelance Senior Data Analyst**, you will shape measurement requirements into an implementation design, working alongside developers to achieve the vision and collating platform data into the analytics tool via a tag management solution,with the goal to capture and merge analytics data from owned and earned sources to enable insight to address business challenges and improve their audiences experience.

As a**Freelance Senior Data Analyst** you will:

- Take ownership of measurement plans, KPI framework and data maturity roadmap to support our clients' business and marketing level objectives
- Drive the analytics agenda and find new opportunities to build data maturity
- Liaise with stakeholders to communicate data requirements and help secure data assets from clients e.g., CRM and offline data sources
- Help with the creation of client facing technical documents e.g., solution design documents for data collection on owned platforms
- Work with developers and technical teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive analytics and media data capture through dataLayers and via Tag Management solutions e.g., Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager
- Support the troubleshooting of data collection via tag management solutions
- Support account configuration across web analytics, particularly Google Analytics (360/GA4) and media analytics platform.
- Analysis of paid, owned and earned data via Big Query or alternative cloud solution to identify strategic opportunities, actionable recommendations, and optimisations.
- Support with dashboard design and automation to visualise KPI performance for trend spotting and optimisations.
- Support the creation of test and learn hypothesis

The **Freelance Senior Data Analyst** will need:

- Strong skills in Google Analytics 360, Google Tag Manager 360 and GA4 (GTM and GA)
- The ability to work with Google Analytics data to derive insight and tell a story around performance (media and onsite behaviour)
- Strong understanding of Google Analytics implementation and configuration and be able to troubleshoot and provide recommendations
- The ability to create strong visualisations with Data Studio
- Experience in working on Big Query/SQL for GA data
- Strong quantitative analytical skills with proven ability to provide actionable insight - delivering the 'so what' behind the data - ideally from owned platforms
