Job DescriptionSenior Data Governance Analyst - Informatica - London (hybrid / remote)OverviewAre you a seasoned Data Governance professional with a passion for driving data innovation and enhancing data fluency We are seeking a dynamic Senior Data Governance Analyst to join our forward-thinking team. This role is pivotal in implementing our Data Strategy Action Plan improving data quality and maximizing the value of data and analytics across the organization. If you thrive in a collaborative fast-paced environment and have a strategic mindset with a pragmatic approach we want to hear from youResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Data Governance Analyst you will:Lead the enterprise deployment of Informatica Cloud Data Governance Catalogue (IDMC) including configuration and implementation across business units.Embed data ownership and accountability within the organization working closely with Data Management colleagues and business units.Support the identification and documentation of Key Data Elements (KDEs) metadata tagging data lineage and data quality controls.Collaborate with Heads of Data to identify and mitigate data risks implement robust controls and develop comprehensive remediation plans.Drive the adoption of master and reference data management practices.Facilitate Data Forums and Working Groups to align data strategies across the organization.Foster strong professional relationships across the data community to ensure alignment with the Group Data Framework and policies.QualificationsTo excel in this role you should have:Proven experience in delivering Data Management and Data Governance initiatives.Expertise in implementing data governance tools such as Informatica Cloud Data Governance Catalogue (IDMC).Strong understanding of data ownership data quality and metadata management.Experience working in a matrix management environment.Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.A strategic mindset with the ability to deliver pragmatic business-focused solutions.Day-to-DayYour typical day will involve:Collaborating with business units to embed data governance practices and ensure compliance with data policies.Supporting the discovery and documentation of critical data elements data lineage and quality controls.Driving the operational adoption of new data tools and capabilities across the organization.Monitoring and assessing the progress of data management initiatives through clear metrics and outcomes.Facilitating discussions in Data Forums and Working Groups to align on data strategies and best practices.Building and maintaining strong relationships with Heads of Data and other key stakeholders.BenefitsWe believe in taking care of our people.
