As a Housing Officer within WH you will be expected to work across supported housing sites in Birmingham. You will work in close partnership with the support team to ensure all property health and safety checks are completed, prevention and management of anti-social behaviour in line with company policy and to maximise arrears recovery in line with KPI’s.

**Duties**:

- Being responsible for a designated patch of properties, offering information, advice and guidance to tenants.
- Ensuring residents comply with terms of their tenancy agreements whilst managing all ASB issues should residents breach their tenancies.
- To promote resident involvement and community engagement.
- To provide a comprehensive income management service to customers across all tenures.
- Ensuring properties are compliant with all health and safety regulations and booking appropriate contractors maintenance where applicable.
- Liaising with tenants that are moving on to find alternative accommodation and serving any notices where required.
- Regular inspections of properties including conducting and attending viewings.

**Essential**
- Must hold Full UK driver’s license.

**Desirable**
- Working knowledge of welfare benefit system.
- Ideally 1-year experience of housing management, including property compliance, rent arrears recovery, anti-social behaviour and void management or experience of delivery tenancy sustainment work.
- Experience of working with multiple disadvantaged clients

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £9.50-£11.00 per hour
