Reach Supported Housing Ltd is a registered provider of social housing focused on providing supported housing to vulnerable adults with a range of complex needs. We pride ourselves on the bespoke and high-quality service we offer our clients and currently deliver housing and support services in surrounding areas of birmingham.

We are currently seeking an Housing Officer to join our company Team on a permanent basis, the Role will cover the Aston, Perry Barr, Erdington ,Nechells and Yardley area. Must have access to a reliable car, good mileage rates payable.

Key Tasks:

- Conducting weekly health, safety and fire checks at all of the properties within the allocated patch
- Conducting new tenant sign ups
- Following the correct procedure for conducting evictions if required
- Working with maintenance to ensure that the property standard in your area remains excellent.
- Working with the care provider to ensure that void times are kept to a minimum.
- Working closely with the care/support providers to ensure that our tenants needs are met
- Being a core aspect of tenant engagement to ensure that all the tenants queries and complaints are managed
- Liaising with Local Authorities on matters concerning the service users tenancy and housing benefit claim
- Liaising with the tenants appointees as required on sensitive matters
- Working with the tenant to ensure that their tenancy is maintained.
- Working to ensure that Housing Benefit Claims remain in payment

Who we are looking for:

- Experience of working within either a housing or care setting
- Experience of working within a supported living environment or with vulnerable adults would be beneficial
- Experience of liaising with Local Authorities and other agencies
- Experience of working as either a Housing Officer or support/care worker
- Experience within Property Management.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From £9.50 per hour

- Bonus scheme
