The National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) works with all Fire and Rescue Services and the fire sector across the UK to provide best practice, shared resource and ensure continuous improvement and deliver our charitable aim. We are a small charity but have a big impact
We are currently looking for a Human Resources Administrator to support our small Human Resources team across the full employee life cycle. You’ll provide customer-focused support by proactively building relationships internally to deliver an efficient and effective service.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Administration of the HR Inbox.
- Provide administration support with end to end recruitment including advertising vacancies, monitoring the recruitment inbox, organising interviews and populating sharepoint vacancy folders.
- Prepare HR documents, ie employment contracts, secondment agreements, references etc.
- Organize and maintain employee records in sharepoint
- Update our Breathe HR database (e.g. Starters, Leavers, Absense etc)
- Upload content onto the new HR Intranet site and continue to develop its functionality to its full potential.
- Manage the Probation Review Administration process
- Monitor the PDR process
- Liaise with internal and external partners, such Fire & Rescue services to collect Secondment information.
- Generate Purchase Orders.
- Maintain asset register.
- Arrange travel and accommodation for the team.
- Participate in HR projects
- Any other duties to support the smooth running of the HR department.
