**PURPOSE OF ROLE**
Assist with administration relating to both client and corporate accounting.
**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Accounts Administrator Responsibilities**:
- To raise service charge invoices 30 days in advance of due date.
- To assist with the creation of service charge budgets - ensuring to notify the PM that budget is due for submission.
- To add contractor invoices onto Blockman for payment
- To enforce debt recovery procedure where payment is not made promptly in accordance with the due date.
- To ensure that Metta Property Managements corporate invoices are settled promptly - including management fees, company secretarial fees and out of hours fees.
- To ensure that contractor invoices are paid within 30 days of receipt
- To allocate service charge payments to Blockman daily
- To ensure that an external accountant is instructed to provide service charge accounts and all information required is provided promptly.
- To provide the client with the draft service charge accounts within 3 months of year end.
- To report on finances as and when necessary.
- To ensure all company secretarial duties are completed within the correct timeframe - and recharge costs appropriately.
To undertake reasonable additional duties as required
**Property Transfer Department**
- To issue LPE1 packs and oversee sales of all properties
**General Responsibilities and Administration**
- To save all documents received electronically on Shared Drive - using the company policy for naming and saving documents so they can be located by everyone within the team.
**Communication**
- To ensure that the highest levels of customer care and service are maintained at all times.
- To remain courteous at all times
**Reporting & Records**
- To keep a written note of issues - and log all payment notes on Blockman.
- To complete the financial aspects of management report for submission to client - report on:
1. Budget v Actuals
2. Service charge debtors
**Desirable Qualifications/ Skills**
- A full working knowledge of Service Charge budgets, Section 20 notices and relevant law/regulations (Landlord & Tenant Act 1985)
- Organised and articulate
- Good at multitasking
- Competent at excel
- Able to use own initiative
- Property Management Exposure
- AIRPM Qualified
**Salary**: £16,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
