An exciting opportunity has arisen for a patient pathway coordinator focusing on data validation to support the Radiology Department within CLIMP directorate. The successful applicant would work independently and as a part of a team to validate the Patient Tracking List (PTL) as well as waiting list validation.

The Validator role will support the proactive management of diagnostic pathway. The post holder will support the collection and accurate recording of information following a patient referral which will enable the Trust to accurately identify the time from referral to treatment.

The post holder will be required to proactively monitor and validate patients on clinical and diagnostic pathways, supporting the Trust to ensure patient safety while waiting and operational planning of encounters and treatments, as well as supporting the Trust in maintaining performance targets.

The role will involve working closely with clinicians, managers and other staff across the Trust to help to deliver high standards of care and a quality, patient-centered service with an ethos around continuous improvement.

Following successful completion of relevant trainings, the work from home arrangement will be discussed in details with the post holder.

The post holder will be responsible for validating patients within the Diagnostic Radiology PTL on a weekly basis. You will be responsible to ensure the pathway is accurate on the patient administration systems as well as communicating with other teams to ensure that patients are progressing with their pathway accordingly.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as within a close knit team. The post holder will need to be effective in managing their time, workload and priorities. You will be expected to focus on outcomes and motivated by your drive to deliver the highest quality care while ensuring the best possible patient experience.

You will be expected to actively monitor this progress and escalate any concerns in a timely manner. The post holder will be expected to take a proactive approach to work and be organised with their time.
