**Employment and HR Practitioner**: **Work Type**: **Experience**: Law degree or CILEx part-qualified, basic knowledge of Employment Law - Get in Touch **Location**: Corsham **Salary**: £25,000 - £32,000 p/a FTE DOE **The Role**: We have an exciting opportunity for a law graduate or part-qualified Chartered Legal Executive to join the firm in a hands-on, fast-paced role supporting our Head of Employment with all employment law related matters. Duties of the role will include but are not limited to: - Researching documents and previous cases as appropriate - Screening and taking instructions from clients - Diary management to include arranging meetings and appointments - Audio typing and compiling letters/documents/forms - Photocopying and document collation - Opening files/database input - Preparing bills and file notes You will also be required to maintain and develop relationships with both colleagues and clients. The role will allow you to grow and develop so that you have autonomy to be able to support and advise employers on contentious and non-contentious employment law and issues surrounding employee relations. **The Team**: You will be working closely with our Head of Employment who is full-time and also based at our Corsham office. The office itself currently houses a further 12 employees; seven lawyers and five support team members, spread across our Family, Private Client and Residential Property departments. **Your Experience & Qualifications**: Through your studies and qualifications you will need to have a basic knowledge of all aspects of Employment Law. Previous experience of working within a law practice is not essential as a full induction, along with thorough on-the-job training will be given. We are looking for an individual who has strong administrative and secretarial skills. You will also need to be able to communicate and liaise with colleagues and clients at all levels. The role will require you to be highly motivated and work with a sensible, methodical approach. You will need to be adaptable and proactive.
