**Summary**:
At Bis Henderson, we are looking for an experienced Customer Services Administrator to join an established Logistics company within their Customer Services Department. The purpose of this role is to provide excellent customer service to all existing andprospective customers and to assist with increasing the company's revenues through maintaining and developing strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to customer enquiries and queries in a professional and prompt manner
- Ensure accurate data is entered into appropriate systems including key tracking events and rates
- Making regular contact with all Accounts by telephone to ensure the development of relationships
- Developing relationships with the Sales and Operations teams to share customer knowledge and provide business support
- Assist with ensuring any special shipping requirements or instructions are clearly specified
- Assist the Customer Services / Branch Sales operators with organising the collection of shipments and process collection notes
- Advise of delivery dates / collection dates in accordance with lead times, providing PODs where required
- Raise and log purchase orders and invoices
- Order site consumables and assist with inventory checks if required
Key Skills/Experience:
- Previous experience within a Customer Service role at a Logistics company
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Excellent communication skills and a polite customer service manner
- Great team player
