We're looking for an assistant facilities and maintenance manager to join our team. In this brand new role you'll be managing a small team where you will work together in supporting our estate of almost 600 nationwide stores, store support centre and retailfulfilment hub.
**What can you expect from the role?**
This is a fast-paced role which will see you overseeing the management of our maintenance helpdesk. From managing reactive and planned ophthalmic repairs, to auditing the output of mandatory and statutory visits, we'll look to you to make sure that all maintenancegoes ahead and is cost effective.
Using your knowledge and skills you'll build strong working relationships with our third-party logistics company to procure, stock-hold and distribute the majority of GNFR for the business. We'll look to you to ensure the execution of the ophthalmic procurementprogramme and delivery schedules. You'll also have a focus on health and safety, where you will maintain our approved contractor and supplier register and ensure that PQQ's are conducted and on-going compliance is adhered to.
This role will see you managing a team of 3 who you will work closely with to ensure support is provided to both stores and support office properties. This will include completion of legal compliance, full servicing of support office properties and thatkey service levels and KPI's are met.

**About you**
Ideally you will have previous experience of managing a small team and, If you have a qualification in IWFM Level or NEBOSH/ IOSH that would also be beneficial.
