**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming environment.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate data entry.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
- Handle patient records with confidentiality and accuracy, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist with billing and insurance verification processes.
- Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring all materials are stocked and presentable.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate efficient patient flow within the practice.
- Other related tasks for a medical receptionist when needed.
- Communicate effectively with external professionals based on identified patient needs and/or in accordance with clinic staff requests and established protocols

**Experience**
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred, ideally within a healthcare setting.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using office equipment and computer software, including scheduling systems and electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- A compassionate attitude towards patients, demonstrating empathy and understanding.

Pay: £12.00-£12.11 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 48 per week
