We havean exciting opportunity for a **Revenue Analyst** to join our team in **London.** You will join us on a **full time, permanent basis**, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of **£33,000 - £40,000 per annum+ excellent benefits** **(travel allowance, bonus scheme, pension, health insurance).**
The Company is the pioneering data centre colocation provider, an owner operator of Tier III data centres, connectivity and managed ICT solutions to over 2000 market leading corporations around the world. In the UK our Docklands data centre campus facilitatesthe majority of the London Internet Exchange’s (LINX) capacity, meaning that we support a huge proportion of all UK internet traffic, making our Docklands campus a globally important internet hub.
**Revenue Analyst Overview**:
The Revenue Analyst’s role is to support the Billing & Revenue Manager in ensuring the billing process is being executed in line with departmental KPIs. You will also ensure all aspects of Sales Ledger are carried out meeting Company standards and proceduresand that revenue is recognised in accordance with corporate policies and regulatory standards.
**Key responsibilities ofourRevenue Analyst**:
- Keeping accurate and updated records of financial transactions and customer account status,
- Accurately creating, updating and maintaining recurring contract billing records, audit database regularly to ensure the data contain no errors; communicate any resulting information as necessary
- Ensuring all contracted billing is reconciled against legal contracts quarterly
- Completing monthly bill runs and being responsible for pre-bill run checks and revenue assurance analysis
- Raising of customer invoices, obtaining billing approvals, calculating additional fees applicable
- Assisting in the collation and recording of revenue and cost of sale accruals for the month-end management accounts, assisting with sales report and analysis, providing required data and advise
- Acting as a point of contact for customer billing queries, handles customer complaints, resolves billing issues as per agreed SLAs, escalates where necessary
- Maintaining deferred income and accrued income accounts, gather and provide relevant information for reporting on the accounts
- Working closely with the Manager to ensure:
- revenue is recognised in accordance with Company policy and regulatory requirements
- variances against forecasts and budgets are analysed and explained
- Providing revenue and billing data for monthly and quarterly reporting, highlights possible trends, threats, opportunities or issues
- Reviewing billing reports to ensure accuracy and resolve any errors, liaise with relevant stakeholders to investigate discrepancies and escalate where necessary
- Raising Credit Notes in accordance with internal procedures
- Maintaining PO records for customers and ensuring renewals are chased in good time, processed and properly recorded
- Reconciliation of one-off/miscellaneous sales against costs
**Essential Qualifications and Experienceneeded to become ourRevenue Analyst**:
- Relevant professional qualifications/degree educated in a relevant field
- Solid grounding in accounting knowledge and skills - including experience with billing and revenue accounting in a client-driven environment
- IT literate - good working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Knowledge of CRM system (preferably Salesforce)
- Experience in revenue data collation, analysis and reporting
- Good understanding of Sun Accounts and Recurring Invoicing Module
