**BASIC SALARY**: Up to £30,000

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Technical Customer Support, Mechanical Engineer, Workshop Engineer, Service Engineer

This is a varied role which will teach you several aspects of our business. The core responsibilities are split 70 / 30 between workshop or office based responsibilities, and Field Service Engineering.
- Workshop / Office:_ Supporting the Service Manager at our head office / workshop, you will provide administrative resource to the Service team - processing technical service reports, producing and chasing quotations and utilising the CRM to maintainaccurate information on our clients. You will also get involved with some aspects of project management on larger refurbishments - responsible for ordering and logistics of parts to site etc.
- Field:_ Attending client sites across the UK but biased towards Midlands / South East locations to complete services / fit spare parts and diagnose & repair reported faults. This will require flexibility and occasionally staying away overnight asrequired. Initially, you'll be dual visiting alongside experienced field service engineers until fully up to speed.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Technical Customer Support, Mechanical Engineer, Workshop Engineer, Service Engineer
- You're comfortable in an office environment - able to support all departments across design, sales, technical support etc.
- You'll have some exposure to hands on Mechanical Engineering - maybe from education, work experience, or maybe you just tinker with cars as a hobby?
- You’ll develop technical support, project management, sales admin & CAD skills, alongside completing service projects, fitting spare parts and fault finding on technical issues at client sites across the country.

Any exposure to electrical wiring / control gear would also be of benefit - as would any experience of AutoCAD.
