**Are you a motivated Sales Manager with a passion for the clean energy space?**
Our client, a global manufacturer within the Solar PV Equipment market are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to cover the north of the UK.
As Sales Manager, your main responsibilities will be to assess key partners' business to develop successful sales strategies, provide product training and assist them with managing day to day business.
To be considered for the role of Sales Manager, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in solar sales
- A verifiable track record in successfully closing sales deals, and overachieving personal sales targets
- A strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand and convey the technical product line to customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A full, clean UK driving license
- The willingness to travel within the UK on a regular basis
As UK Sales Manager, your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Identify and close sales opportunities in the UK, in accordance with the Company's overall strategic plans and financial objectives in the region
- Develop and maintain relationships with solar distribution channels and strategic accounts, including residential and small commercial installers
- Provide revenue forecasts and review sales results to ensure targets are being met; take corrective action where required
- Maintain accurate and up to date customer records in the company CRM system
- Assist the product management teams to define and improve the product portfolio for use in the residential and small commercial market by regularly gathering feedback from customers, business partners and closely monitoring industry trends
