**Job Title:Business Development Executive**

**Salary: Up to £26,000 pa basic, Plus OTE**

**Full time/ Permanent role, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm**

**The Role**:
The main purpose of this position is to offer Adviser support of attaining procurement leads, sourcing new business opportunities, and building new clint base. This position will offer varied business development activities, and the opportunity to attendbusiness events throughout the year.

**Job Duties**:

- Identify ample new business opportunities, and develop the actions necessary to win new business clients
- Making a high number of daily outbound calls to prospective client, introducing company services within the Financial Services Industry
- Booking client meetings within the finance sector, working towards a target, sending out appointment confirmations
- Building a pipeline of clients & prospects, specifically within the finance sector - both B2B & B2C clients
- Maintain records of communications, orders, and accounts on internal CRM software
- Complete basic sales administration tasks along with adherence to all GDPR policies and guidelines
- Ensuring compliance is followed, and adhered to on every occasion
- Working closely with internal Financial / Business Advisors

**Knowledge & Expertise Required**:

- Similar experience within a similar role, ideally with an interest or knowledge from within the Financial Services Industry (although not essential)
- Knowledge of relevant FCA regulations would be advantageous

**Skills and behaviours**:

- A desire to become a Financial Advisor
- A strong work ethic
- Proven ability of making outbound telephone sales, and virtual sales within a B2B & C2C environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Proficient with IT
- Proactive in making decisions and using own initiative
- Highly organised with effective time management skills, with the ability to multitask
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to keep calm when under pressure & effectively manage business priorities and demands
- Able to demonstrates a positive attitude and work well on own, and within a business team environment
