**HR Assistant/Training Co-ordinator - Norwich - £11 per hour**
We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Assistant/Training Co-ordinator to join our family run organisation who provide a key service across seven care homes in Norfolk and Suffolk. This position is based at our beautiful head office in Norwich, providing HR, admin and training support to our HR Manager and care homes. Working 25 hours per week - flexible with days/times, this position would suit someone wanting to work within a small, friendly team who has excellent interpersonal skills, is highly organised with great attention to detail.
No two days are the same - you could be dealing with new employee contracts, maintaining employee records, booking people onto training courses, handling holiday requests or assisting with work of a confidential/sensitive nature and handling this with discretion. Confident verbal and written communication is essential along with a ‘can do’ attitude.
**Key Duties**:
- Act as a point of contact for colleagues and managers who may wish to discuss HR or training matters.
- Proactively work with people across the business and establish processes to validate the learning needs of their people and develop required performance support initiatives.
- Support with day to day queries such as advising on policy and best practice.
- Contracts and offer letter administration ensuring accuracy at all times.
- Supporting HR projects including performance management, HR systems, processes, recruitment events, reward initiatives and a range of training initiatives.
- Producing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets for the HR Manager.
- Maintaining holiday requests, sickness records, headcount reports using Excel spreadsheets
- Utilising our in-house training system to maintain training records
- Provide general administration support to the HR and Training function.
