**Fleet Manager - Logistics - Atherton with National Travel**

**Salary C : £72K (inclusive of Car Allowance)**

**Our Client is a Leading Logistics Specialist in the UK**

**The Role**:

- Managing of all central fleet
- Responsibility of fleet legal compliance across hub network
- Vehicle procurement
- Own centralised O-Licence register
- Policy/Process design and implementation
- Develop and implement strategies for better fuel efficiency
- Finding and implementing solutions to improve service, safety, costs, efficiency etc
- The role is to be based in The North West - with travel across network Nationally
- Management of a small team
- You will need to be Solutions focused
- You will take ownership of implementing business decisions and effectively and proactively communicate them to the team and wider business areas
- Exceptional interpersonal skills you will work collaboratively with various departments
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills

**Experience**:

- 5 years’ practical experience in a fleet management role - preferably gained in the logistic/distribution sector
- At least 2 years’ experience in leading and managing successful teams
- Experience in the commercial acquisition of fleet vehicles
- An expect level of VOSA compliance knowledge and road transport law
- Experience with vehicle technology and fuel management systems
- Have a solid understanding of legislation surrounding fleet H&S issues (tyre depth etc.)
- Strong stakeholder management skills, able to navigate the corporate landscape, quickly establish credibility and build effective, collaborative, working relationships at all levels
- Displays an excellent knowledge of current legislation and best practice
- Demonstrate plenty of flexibility in respect of working hours as the role may require willingness to undertake regular travel and overnight stays

**Requirements**:

- Hold a valid UK driving licence as travel will be required (and have less than 6 penalty points)
- Holds current CPC qualification
