Leuchie is seeking an experienced and proactive **People Advisor** to join our dedicated HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to both the **operational and developmental** aspects of HR within a values-driven organisation that makes a real difference to the lives of people with long-term conditions.

Reporting to the Director of People, Finance and Planning, you will provide comprehensive HR support and guidance across the organisation. You will be responsible for a range of activities including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and supporting line managers in delivering best practice. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting and developing our valued **volunteer team**, ensuring an engaging, inclusive, and rewarding volunteer experience. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of our people strategy, supporting learning and development initiatives, engagement, and wellbeing programmes.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers, employees, and volunteers in line with policies and employment legislation
- Lead and support on employee relations matters including absence, conduct, and performance
- Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for both employees and volunteers
- Contribute to HR and volunteer engagement projects that drive development, inclusion, and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate HR and volunteer records and produce reports as required
- Support and promote a positive, inclusive working and volunteering environment that reflects Leuchie’s values

**Essential skills and experience**:

- Proven experience in a similar HR advisory or officer role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience supporting or managing volunteer engagement is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or working towards) is desirable
