Working in a small team and reporting to the Head of People, in this busy and varied role, you’ll be responsible for providing a first-class proactive people service across each stage of the employee lifecycle, providing generalist HR advice, guidance, coachingand support on all people-related matters and deliver training to managers. You’ll support the Head of People on strategic projects including wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, reward and L&D to make the business a great place to work.

**Functional Responsibilities**
- Provide coaching, support, and guidance to managers on the full range of employee relations matters including absence management, performance management, disciplinary, grievance etc. in line with employment legislation, policy and procedure
- Provide support and coaching to managers on sickness absence, ensuring early intervention into Occupational Health and proactive management of sickness absence cases, ensuring all meetings are documented as appropriate
- Support with business reorganisations, consultations, contract changes etc.
- Build strong, proactive relationships with managers across the Group
- Ensure HR Policies are reviewed and updated in line with legislative and organisational changes
- Working with the Head of People, design and deliver a training programme for managers and accompanying manager guidance to ensure HR processes are clear and understood
- Provide support to the Recruitment Coordinator to ensure the business attracts and recruits the best talent and look for ways to improve the recruitment process
- Provide monthly and quarterly reports on key HR Metrics
- Delivery of the company People Induction and Manager Induction
- Own the Corporate Induction Day, ensuring the content is engaging, relevant and supports a great employee experience
- Conduct exit interviews and reporting on key themes
- Manage external partnerships to maximise opportunities to make a difference to colleagues and create a great place to work e.g., Disability Confident scheme, Menopause Friendly accreditation
- Plan and deliver the annual calendar of health, wellbeing and inclusion activities, writing engaging communications for colleagues
- Lead on the People Team Sharepoint (Intranet) to ensure it’s up to date, content is relevant and easily accessible
- Develop an annual colleague training plan and support with training needs analysis across the business
- Work with the Head of People on strategic projects such as the introduction of a new employee engagement platform, diversity and inclusion, reward, high performance culture etc.

**Person Specification**
- CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
- Previous experience at a HR Advisor level or equivalent; advising, supporting and coaching managers on a range of people-related matters
- Up to date knowledge of employment law
- Experience delivering virtually and face to face to managers and colleagues on HR policies and processes
