**Your role**

We are currently looking for an eCommerce Marketing Assistant, focusing on the sales and marketing product management of configure-to-order server and workstation systems and components.

Working in a relaxed, informal team environment, your job will involve working alongside the senior server category manager with the remit to manage all marketing and product placement activities for products within the category group. Your role will involve consolidating our position as the UK’s leading refurbished IT seller on eBay, whilst developing traffic, sales, and customer experience on our own eCommerce store through the optimisation of your products and categories. You’ll also work on developing opportunities with trade customers and managing strategies for maximising the visibility of products in your categories.

Hybrid remote working is available for this position.

**Role and responsibilities**
- Create and manage product advertisements on our eCommerce site and eBay
- Maintain and update product information regularly, ensuring everything is complete, accurate and up-to-date
- Monitor inventory levels, promotional budgets, and pricing competitiveness
- Track performance of key products and categories against both general market trends and competitors
- Optimise product listings for search engine optimisation and marketplace product placement
- Develop marketing materials and opportunities for all sales departments

**Essential skills & experience**
- Previous experience in a similar role
- A background knowledge and genuine interest in IT hardware
- Strong written and verbal communication/copywriting skills (excellent English Grammar)
- Superb understanding of various eCommerce platforms (eBay, Amazon, Magento)
- Understanding of Google Analytics and metrics such as conversion rate, average order value and cart abandonment rate
- Knowledge of SEO best practices

**Desirable skills & experience**
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and computer programming
- Experience with graphic design, image processing and Photoshop
- ERP System user experience (MS Dynamics NAV, AX, SAP or similar)
- Background in product management, product marketing or technical content creation
