Account Director Healthcare

**We are looking for an Account Director to work with an award-winning Healthcare and Pharma mangement consultancy. This company support their healthcare and pharma Clients in generating competitive strategies underpinned with excellent customerinsight, clear objectives and actionable implemetation. This company has grown rapidly over the last 4 years which is why they need to expand their team.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Working on multiple healthcare projects with your project managers and account executive team, you will be the primary point of contact for all projects under the relevant clients and surrounding activities, ensuring that all deadlines and milestones aremet.
- Using your project management / leadership skills and healthcare expertise, and in collaboration with our associate consultants and internal project team, you will deliver a range of projects to clients, across our 2 pillars of expertise of brand planningand strategy, capability development and launch excellence.
- You will have previous experience working in a healthcare consultancy or pharmaceutical / biotech organisation. You will be able to work well within a team and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
**Salary & Benefits**
- Salary range is £75-80,000 per annum with £5000 car allowance, 10% bonus, pension and healthcare allowance.
- Full time flexible working environment (ideally in the office one day per week).
- 5 weeks paid holidays plus UK bank holidays, a company pension scheme and BUPA Employee Assistance Programme ('Healthy Minds’ for mental health and wellbeing).
**Key Skills needed in order to apply**
- Deep experience of working within pharma industry (could be agency and / or in-role experience).
- Worked across most major therapy areas and at all levels, with a sound understanding of how global companies work and a forensic knowledge of how the pharma industry operates
- Deeper knowledge of therapy areas and how to integrate to the wider commercial goals of client companies
- Leads key communications, and delegates to PMs and Senior PMs.
- Is involved in broader commercial communications (identifying key projects and areas we could support the business further) and pro-actively seeking these opportunities.
- Thinks strategically across the account to identify gaps / further project support / coaching requirements for leaders etc. Recommends these insights to the client so that, possibly, and where appropriate, the client requests assistance, via an RFP.
- Reviews the overarching pipeline, budget and resource allocations of all projects within the account with support from the Senior Project / Account Manager.
- Makes key decisions with regards to all of the above. Focuses on ensuring the pipeline is healthy and followed through.
- Able to cope with a larger and more strategic relationship and workload, whilst managing personal stress levels.
- Manages time to ensure the balance remains healthy and supports team members, identifying where resources may need allocating.
