**JOB TITLE**: Contracts Officer

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Preparing tenders for clients and bids to help bring in new business
- Meeting with clients to find out their requirements.
- Dealing with unexpected costs
- Monitoring and recording overtime using tracker - checking for any anomalies
- Attending meetings at school sites.
- Acting as a main point of contact for the business’ clients, service users and parents/carers as well as staff and subcontractors.
- Managing timeframes and costs.
- Undertaking costing negotiations
- Ensure master AC is maintained and kept up to date
- Allocation of contracts to staff
- Ensure diary and load lists are maintained and updated.
- Excellent communication always with clients and staff.
- Ensuring communications concerning contracts are kept up to date.
- Management of the distribution of school, parents, and subcontractors.
- Providing training to staff
- Undertaking ad hoc tasks that are set by The Operations Manager.
- Ensuring the correct processes are followed when escalating complaints and safeguarding concerns.
- Company policies and procedures to be always followed.
- Some on-call evenings and weekends required
- To be able to map routes and undertake strategic logistics work

**Job Specification**
- Relevant experience in managing contracts within the home to school transport industry preferred but not essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft software including excel and word
- Able to work independently and as a part of a small team
- Accuracy and attention to detail essential
- Able to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload
- To have excellent customer service skills
- Problem solving skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £24,500.00 per year
