**Overview**:
MCR Pathways are looking for a Digital Helpdesk Modern Apprentice to join their team and support their staff and volunteers. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional and friendly environment whilst working towards an apprenticeship qualification

You will be joining a friendly and supportive team who love what they do and enjoy working with each other. We model our values and many of us are also mentors ourselves.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Support the diagnosis and resolution of common technical issues and refer more complex problems to senior staff when necessary.
- Assist with setting up new users including configuring Google Workspace accounts, passwords and access permissions.
- Support with the installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware, software and digital tools.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining IT systems, ensuring they are running efficiently.
- Support basic training to staff on using IT systems and digital tools effectively.
- Assist in creating training materials and FAQs to help users resolve common technical issues independently.
- Learn to conduct systems checks and audits to ensure compliance with IT policies and GDPR best practice.

**Salary**:
£17,017 per annum.

**Working week**:
9am - 5pm,
35 hours a week.

**Future prospects**:

They ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to be successful in your job role and pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.
Starting with insights into your current potential, they plan your growth in a programmatic way, close skills gaps with immersive training and ensure what you learn is applicable to what you do. They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at **SCQF Level 6.**
