Internal Communications Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Development of an effective internal communications strategy for business which is aligned to the Group Communications strategy, ensuring positive employee engagement
- Communicate with c.600 employees across 4 locations in UK and US
- Conceptualise and develop new and interesting methods of communicating across the company to drive employee engagement
- Support drafting of engaging content for management communications, news and company information on effective platforms to ensure consistent messaging
- Maintain intranet
- Co-ordinate and manage communication events as required
- Develop companies profile on social media platforms to enhance our image across all channels
- Manage communication plans for multiple projects from concept to completion
- Create and co-ordinate the delivery of key announcements across the business
- Provide appropriate content to the Group Communications Manager for business news
- Provide advice and clear guidance to key stakeholders on most effective communication approaches
- Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all channels and audience groups
- Support employee engagement activities such as surveys, focus groups and town hall events, as per the internal communications plan
- Promote and manage RewardHub

Skill Required
- Creative with excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Strong interpersonal skills combined with journalistic ability to source content from key stakeholders and translate into engaging stories for employees
- Able to handle sensitive or confidential information and relay the appropriate information to the correct stakeholders at the correct time
- Confident in communicating, influencing and relationship building across all levels of the organisation
- Open to and advocate of new ideas and change
- Motivated by results and strives to exceed expectations
- Demonstrate knowledge of a broad range of communication tools
- Strong IT skills, particularly MS Office and demonstrable experience of working with internet, intranet, digital and social media platforms
- The interpersonal skills to facilitate successfully working with a broad range of individuals and groups at different levels within the company
- Strong customer focus
- Excellent organisation and planning skills
- Track record of delivering high quality communications materials with ability to think outside-of-the-box
- Self-motivated, self-managed, ability to collaborate and work independently
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel is essential
