At a glance: Location: Cirencester Office Workplace Type: Hybrid Employment Type: 12 month Fixed-Term Contract Seniority: Mid-Senior Level About The Role We're looking for an experienced Communications Manager to join our team at SJP. Sitting within the Communications function, this role plays a vital part in shaping and delivering engaging internal and partnership communications that support our business strategy and bring our culture to life. Working closely with leaders and cross-functional teams across a matrix organisation, you'll have the opportunity to influence how our people connect with our purpose and values, and ensure our messages are clear, consistent and impactful. This role will primarily align to the Technology space for a 12-month period whilst the strategy is in its early implementation phase. This person will need experience of supporting communications in a technology landscape, able to translate the story to ensure the Partnership and employee communities feel informed, engaged, confident and excited about the developments on the roadmap. What you'll be doing Develop and implement a comprehensive communications and content strategy aligned to SJP's business goals. Create and lead an editorial calendar to deliver timely, compelling content across online and offline channels. Collaborate with leaders, cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to develop content that supports our strategy and strengthens our culture. Lead all aspects of the creation of multimedia assets, working with designers, videographers, agencies and other stakeholders. Monitor and analyse content performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement. Ensure all communications reflect SJP's brand, tone of voice and narrative while engaging employee and partnership audiences. Who we're looking for We need an expert communicator who can combine creativity with critical thinking. You'll be confident developing and delivering content strategies, with the ability to influence across a matrix organisation and adapt to changing priorities. Essential criteria: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong copywriting ability Experience of supporting communications through transformation or technology change Experience in content strategy development and implementation Strong background in editorial planning and use of content management systems Ability to run multiple communication streams and deliver high-quality output Desirable skills: Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field Experience handling departmental or divisional communications within a matrix organisation IoIC or similar or Change communication qualification What's in it for you?
