**Salary: £20,222** per annum**
**37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year**
**Fixed term up to 12 months (Until Post-holder returns)**
As our **Data and Compliance Administrator**,** **you** **will provide high quality support, advice and guidance on all aspects of student data, courses, curriculum planning, funding, compliance, space planning and timetabling to college managers and staff.
The post holder will take the lead in regard to specific aspect of data and compliance as deemed necessary but the Head of Data and Compliance, and senior leadership team. You will be responsible for drive improvements in data management, undertake data mining, interpreting and analyse performance and funding optimisation across all funding streams.

**Responsibilities of our** **Data and Compliance Administrator**:
- Responsible for ensuring all aspects of student data collection, and utilisation is accurate, credible and is collected, input, cleansed and maintained on college systems.
- Establish and maintain a client relationship with curriculum staff to develop the management of data within relevant internal or external frameworks.
- Provide data reporting, analysis and interpretation to relevant college managers, identifying issues and recommending solutions.
- Ensure an efficient and lean service is delivered at all times which is responsive to the needs of the college and curriculum as designated by the Head of Data and Compliance and senior leadership team.
- Ensure through the planning process that optimal use is made of funding, staff and space, supporting college strategic objectives.
- Support the Head of Data and Compliance in providing a space planning function that ensures the optimal utilisation of the available space and resources.
- Support the curriculum/business planning cycle, ensuring managers are fully informed on issues relating to curriculum development, course planning, timetabling and funding.
- Devise and undertake internal audit routines to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, and ensuring preparedness for external audit. Ensure compliance against various frameworks, including learner eligibility policies, ILR specification, audit guidance and timetabling policy.
- Consider common systems and opportunities for improving college transactional processes to meet the requirements of the college and external agencies.
- Provide technical expertise in data and funding policies. Interpret these policies, considering the impact on college processes, producing summary reports for college managers at key points.
- Compile and submit college data return to various external agencies, ensuring all validation and verification has been undertaken.
- Support the development and implementation of college enrolment processes.
- Support with ad-hoc data requests and undertake projects as and when required.
- To monitor the work undertaken by Exams Administrators, identifying areas for improvement and providing feedback and support on performance.
- Provide mandatory and/or ad-hoc training to curriculum and support staff, ensuring all aspects of staff development relating to the Data and Compliance team are covered.
- Support the Head of Data and Compliance in ensuring GDPR is effectively managed for the college.
**What we’re looking for in our** **Data and Compliance Administrator**:
- GCSE English & Maths Grade C or equivalent
- Experience of preparing for and undergoing audits
- Understanding of education and the related quality assurance processes
- Ability to collate, analyse, interpret and report on data
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel at a level commensurate with the job role
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
