At **Positive Steps Care & Support Ltd**, we are excited to welcome a compassionate and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic and supportive team. We’re hiring for the position of **Care Co-Ordinator** in our bustling **Plymouth office**, where every day brings opportunities to make a positive impact.

As a Care Co-Ordinator, you will work closely with our dedicated Care Managers and fellow Co-Ordinators, ensuring the seamless daily operation of our services. You’ll play a vital role in upholding our high standards, following company policies and procedures, and contributing to the exceptional care we provide.

Our office is fast-paced and deadline-driven, making prioritisation and the ability to work well under pressure essential. However, we pride ourselves on fostering a fun, collaborative, and proactive environment where teamwork and positivity thrive.

**Working Hours**
- **Monday - Friday: 08:30 - 17:00**:

- **On-call rotation**: One evening per week and one weekend every six weeks.

**What We’re Looking For**
- **Compassion and enthusiasm**, with a proactive, positive attitude to support our services and help improve lives.
- **Experience in Health and Social Care**: A minimum of six months is preferred. Knowledge of or experience in areas such as Autonomic Dyslexia, Brain Injury, Dementia, Huntington’s Disease, Physical Disabilities, or Spinal Injuries is ideal, but transferable skills and personal experience will also be considered.
- A **full, clean driving license** (preferred).
- **Excellent communication skills**, both written and verbal.
- The ability to **work effectively as part of a team** while also being resourceful and taking initiative.
- A **professional yet friendly telephone manner**.
- **Strong IT skills** and the confidence to use various platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**

In this role, you’ll:

- Build strong relationships with employees, service users, and their families.
- Maintain and monitor care packages, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Oversee and manage staff rotas.
- Allocate staff to cover agency shifts.
- Complete general administrative duties.
- Participate in the on-call rota.
