**Your role at Orbit**

**Preferred start date end of March / early April 2025**
We are looking for a capable individual to work in our busy rents team. This role has a heavy focus on compliance, you will work with customer information, use multiple systems to correctly calculate rent. This will require excellent focus, good attention to detail and working in a timely fashion at pace.
The team cover rent over a variety of housing requirements: social, affordable, intermediate, market, shared ownership and other rent products. They work to provide assurance on the integrity of our rent levels and review activity to meet the organisation’s statutory, regulatory and policy standards.
You will act a first point of contact for rent setting enquiries and work to ensure the integrity of the data in relation to annual and current rental calculations.
We are looking for someone with excellent Excel skills, with experience of working under guidelines and regulations. You will be able to follow complex process and work well independently.
The team work in an agile manner, so this role will involve a mix of home and office-based work.

- Excellent numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
- Experience of compiling and analysing statistical data
- Ability to write high quality business letters
- Ability to prioritise own workload and adapt to changing demands
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to travel to meet the requirements of the role.
